roses.

I took some self portraits yesterday...

As Christmas comes closer, and the new year approaches, I can't help but really reflect on 2009. By far, the craziest year of my life yet. That's what I say every year, though. But it is always true. Times are changing.

I've got a few other non-photography projects that I'm almost completed with.. Maybe I'll get them posted up here whenever I'm done. :)

lalala

taken this morning.

I'm having a pretty productive day. I did a lot of things I've been putting off, and the night is still young. I find that even when things are bad and I feel stuck in hole, I can always manage to find some kind of opportunity. Without pain, you would not be able to appreciate the good moments. I'm excited for Christmas.
That's all for now.

I hope you have a great night.

afternoons.

These are from a few days ago, just now got around to editing them. I'm going to work on taking at least one photo every day. It kind of sucks, though because my 50mm lense is a little busted :( but I feel like it can be fixed. I'm also going to a sweet flea market this Saturday, because I know they always have old cameras/equipment that I want to check out.

My friends are artists.

Alrite, well that's all for now. I am just now beginning my day sadly, lolz. I'm going to make the most of it though!

Sara.

So, I took some pretty sweet portraits of my bff Sara. First time I've ever really done anything like this, using just things I found around my house. I'm pretty happy with how they came out though. :)

And we took some together.

:D I'm a busy bee. I'm on a photo kick, expect more soon! I still have other photos that I took that I need to upload. Hopefully my interwebs situation gets better.

Cheers! <3

imaginary, ordinary

DECEMBER BEGINS.
with...
late nights,
frightful weather.
indoors, with
a little help from
my friends.

i get by, with a little help.

November went by like a blink of an eye. I found myself painting and drawing more than taking photographs. I think it has something to do with the sudden shift of weather. There aren't any leaves left. Ice is starting to cover the streets. It won't be long now... I'm planning on getting better camera equipment soon, so I'll probably be shooting continuously. November is always a month that I never particularly enjoy anyway , except for Thanksgiving.

Well, I'm pretty tired. I took some neat pictures today. Once I have them edited I'll put them up. I really need to get the interwebs. :\ Woe for being a starving artist/photographer/human.

Goodnight world.
